It really depends mostly on how often you will participate in the forum.

Here in the forum, it's 3 points per reply. and 50 points for best answer.
You will also receive 10 points for every $1 spent on your monthly plan.

In this case, most of your points will be from paying your bill.
Let's say, you have a $50 plan. This means you will earn at least 500 points monthly. So yes it will take up to 8 months.

It depends on the plan you have, how active you are, how many badges you get etc. Very hard to say. I was on level 3 in about three weeks but that was before Fizz implemented their points accrual policy. Now it will probably take about 3-5 months (that would be my guess at least)

It depend of many factor. How you are active, how many active services you have, monthly bills, etc.
For example, i'm with Fizz for 2 years now, with 3 services, and I am now level 7.

As others have said, it depends on plan and forum activity; I was able to reach level 5 in about 6 months but I have internet and two mobile plans (total around 120$/month) and was quite active in the first few months to the point where I think I reached level 3 in 2 months.

I would say it depends on how much time you put in it. If you gives data, responds to some questions, add friends.. you will have more points so its a easier way to reach the level you want. Personally I dont do all that stuff so im with Fizz for 2 years and like 5 months and im almost level 4. The two first level are easier to reach, the third one is more complicated.

To recap on top of everything that has been said. In order to gain points and achieve levels you can do:
1) publish on a forum
2) invite a person to fizz
3) give data
4) pay your bills
All of the above will give you some amount of points depending on how much you use/participate.
