I have a 120 MBPS service which has dropped to under 90. I have tried rebooting router and modem and PC all with no change of service. Please advise how to get help solving this.

Is the speed you are reporting via WiFi connected device or Wired ?

If it is WiFi, then all sorts of factors could play into the equation. Try a wired connection.

Also if you are using a browser, try switching browsers. I find that sometimes some browsers if open for too long, tend to leak and eventually slow down.

It's Ethernet direct to modem. I'm down almost 25% from beginning of August. Browser makes no difference.

I know it sound ridiculous, but do you have another ethernet cable ? some of the cheap cables that come with these devices does easily get damaged, and starts to degrate.

I have rebooted, all components changed cables and used different browsers. Last time I had this issue it was a bad connection outside the premises. How do I get a Tek to come look at this. A loss of this amount is almost never heard of.

    Hi John,

Guess the best option would be to contact support from the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services

On the bottom right you will see a "?" show up, and if you select it, you should see the option to chat or facebook messenger. Chat is the quickest. Explain the issue and the fact that you are testing wired and have changed cables, rebooted everything and used various browsers/tests and still same issues.

Hopefully they can get a ticket opened for you and get a tech out to test the signal strength.
