can i make international facetime calls with my data?

on Fido I can’t make international calls on FaceTime on my data because idk but on WiFi is ok. So because of that I’m not only confused but pissed so I wanted to know if all companies do the same or just Fido or i’m still confused even with Fido “help”.

    Since FaceTime is using data and not the phone network of your carrier, it's free except for what you pay in your phone plan for the data itself. Your carrier can't control on what you use your data. So it's maybe a setting on your phone (only use Wifi for FaceTime) or a lack of data to support a call.
