Anyone knows if 5G coming soon?

    According to this post in the French forum, 5G is already here: https://forum.fizz.ca/fr/discussion/2619959/nouveau-mois-nouveau-cadeau

    It turned out to be a April fool's gag.

    Seriously though, Fizz uses the same 4G LTE network as Videotron but typically won't offer premium features, like 5G service, until a later date.

    Dont forget Fizz is the low cost compagnie of videotron so videotron will have 5G first and Fizz will get it some time after.

    It's not as if Vidéotron 5G coverage was that great, even if Fizz' offered the same thing, only a tiny fraction of customers would be able to use it.
