how do you get perks?

Guys, I just received from somebody a perk 1G data... really surprised ! I had to apply it and is available for 30 days ! Is not like a data gift automatically applied ! How can you send a perk ? No idea about who she/he is. Anyway thank you !

Gratz on your free gift from a nice member! Perks are gifts from Fizz.
After receiving a perk, we have a certain number of days (90) to activate it.
To activate a Perk, click on it and you will be given 2 choices:
1. You can use it on one of your mobile plans.
2. Or gift it to someone on your contact list.

Really interesting. This one it was saying expiring in 5 days. Yesterday wasn't there.....also the red bell right up appeared today....
