I am finishing contract with Bell on February 28th. Can I transfer my phone number to Fizz on exactly March 1st ?

Yes, you can even change your phone number on the same day as you finish with Bell. That's what I did with telus, when I switched22

Yes the transfer is done on the same day, I will personally do the transfer couples of days before, and buy the SIM now

I agree with Mike, I would get my SIM card now, at a participating Couche-Tard or on line, and activate it a few days in advance.

I would recommend that you do it a few days earlier just in case something goes wrong. Usually its a matter of minutes/hours but you never know. Better be safe than sorry.15

If your phone is on Bell, you can change when you want. Bell will stop to charge when you leave. You will be credit for the rest of the month. But for to be sure to not have problem with Bell credit, pass the February 28th and not the March 1st and me, I will prefer February 26th because 28th is a sunday....14

I would personally buy the sim card now and avtivate it a few days before your contract and with Bell.8

Buy the sim card ahead, and it doesn't hurt to do the switch 1- 2 days prior your expiry to be safe knowing there is no issues in the transfer. Welcome to Fizz!7

Yes, you can.
Dont forget that your Bell's mobile account must be active if you need to transfert your phone number with Fizz.
Get before on hand a Fizz sim card.
When you will activate your Fizz mobile plan and for the transfert, get your Bell's account number and the IMEI of your phone (types: *#06#, a serial of 15 digits).
You can apply a Fizz referral code from a friend when you are activating your first Fizz plan (when you see the monthly cost of the plan without taxes).
You will get a rebate of 25$ when you will do your second payment.

Hi Peter,
Yes you can transfer your phone number to Fizz but only if your Bell account is paid to date.
For that you will need to have a Fizz SIM card and your phone to be Unlocked for all networks.
The activation of the cellular service usually takes few minutes but glitches may occur so if I were you, I will do the transfer one day before just to be sure.
If you need a $25 referral code you can use mine ( 4QZDO ) but don’t forget to use when you order the service not after.2
