Well, that depends on your individual needs. Virgin has good service from what my friends told me. When they have a promotion they can certainly be better (price wise) than Fizz.
Again, many factors play into it (what are your needs, how much data, where do you live) so its quite hard to give you a good recommendation2 -
It depends on your individual needs (what do you need exactly and where do you life etc).
I heard they are not bad and if they have some promotion, they might be comparable to Fizz. It all comes down to your individual use, so it's hard to give you an exact recommendation I personally like the flexibility of Fizz and for me they are cheaper. As long as it stays this way, I will stick around.7 -
Love Fizz, I would stay with Fizz.8

Hi Arie
Virgin is owned by Bell. They use the telephone lines for internet, it's different network compared to Fizz/Videotron cable network.
If you don't mind the billing policy and tactics employed by Bell, sure go for it, you can give them a try. For example, they will offer a 12 month promo, but they can also raise your price during the promo. And when the promo ends, they won't offer any additional incentive.
At the end, the choice is really yours to make.10 -

I think Fizz is better but it's up to you to see if you get a better price and not just because of a promotion for one year.7

Arie,
For me, i dont regret my switch from Bell to Fizz internet, it's stable, affordable and have unlimited used plans.
You can also choose Virgin if you prefer to ask for limited promotion prices, inscrease annually the price of your plan and get a very poor customer service...8 -
Hi
Depends to you, like Fizz offer cheaper price I think and they are the only to give you the unused data. Fizz are also 100% online and you can really personalize you plan as you want. I personally prefer Fizz for that given reason.
Have a good day.4 -
Hi Arie, I'm currently considering a switch in the opposite direction. I'm with virgin at the moment and I'm having several issues with internet stability. I mean, the speed is good but the signal cut off pretty often. Also, I don,t like Virgin/Bell policy of changing the price out of nowhere so you have to call them to see if they have a kind of credit or discount to apply. I'd rather have a fixed price without the hassle of contacting them every 6 months. Aditionally, Virgin doesn't reward loyalty that much honestly. Feel free to ask if you need other info.5
