Random APN / MMS setting prompt?

While talking on the phone I was suddenly disconnected, and received a text message about setting the APN/MMS. I ignored it and was able to resume my phone call, then later received two WAP service prompts.
Calling and texting work normally. I can go on the internet using only my data.
Is this legit or is there something fishy going on?

Hi Maryse
Welcome to Fizz!
Is your mobile data working too? If everything is working, you can ignore those service notification texts. Those notfiications are usually sent out to new subscribers or if you have made a request for them from your Fizz account (My plan >> Advanced parameters >>
Fizz network parameters).11 -
My mobile data also works fine. I've been with Fizz for over a year and I have not made a request for them so this is really weird.11

I haven’t heard of them sending data. Reach out to support to confirm11

Have you recently change phone or change network or reset your network settings?
Which number was the text message sent from?
Can you post a screenshot of the messages?11 -
Same thing happened to me the other day whitout changing my phone or my apn settings.I decided to ignore it and move along. Probably it's just a random generated message.13

I received a new phone on Christmas to replace my old broken one, but that was nearly 3 weeks ago and the phone has been working flawlessly since then.13

Hi Maryse
Those are legit from Fizz. As your phone service is working well, there is no need for concern.
As usual, its always good practice to keep your personal info well guarded and change your Fizz account password regularly.10
