Hello everyone!
To keep in touch with your family and friends, Which services or sites are you using? Please share them here.
Does it work well? What do you like or dislike about it?
If you are with Fizz internet, is your plan keeping up with the service demand?
Thanks and Have a good day!

How about playing some online games? You can even play with strangers around the world.
You can try this free-to-play site: https://netgames.io/
Social games you can play on your phone. One game I particularly enjoy is "Codewords".19 -
Also if you want to watch a movie with up to 10 friends, I have found that Scener works well.
Scener is fantastic! It works as a google chrome extension and you can watch the same movie of different platforms (netflix, amazon, hulu, disney+, hbo max, etc). Have you already tried it?19 -
There is also this Houseparty app which I have not tried yet: https://houseparty.com/
I will share this interesting article about it:

Hi Fizzy,
We did try Skribbl (#26 in the article you’ve linked) and it was fun! I have a very basic internet plan with Fizz and it was okay.
Thank you for the links and suggestions, I might use them for the virtual birthday celebration of my mom in late January!!!21 -
Usually I do Zoom calls with my family back home. Not the same but better than nothing. It worked well for the most part and the internet kept up great with the demand with no lag or outages.
I used FaceTime primarily to chat with my friends.
The obvious disadvantages are the lack of social contact but I guess that‘s the time we are in right now. Apart from that also Telegram and Signal.
Thank you for your suggestions. I will definitely try it. I tried Houseparty a week ago. It worked great15 -
We use FaceTime, Skype and Zoom.
Thanks for the good tips Fizzy!15 -
Good morning Fizzy,
I keep up with family using Google Duo for videocall, Friends I usually connect with them using regular SMS or Signal.
I do love playing board games with my friends or strangers from around the world and I do that using boardgamearena.com . I do love this platform as it has more than 200 games available, and you can create an account for free.14 -
We are using mainly FaceTime and Skype. The internet connection always worked great with these softwares so far!14

For discussions I'm using Zoom, Messenger, Jitsi, Skype
Yesterday with my bother's family, we played board games using a webcam placed over the board so we could play together (using Zoom). That was fun!13 -
I like the board game idea. Very creative. Maybe I can do something similar with my friends!13

wow, the thread I didn't know I needed! Thank you for that Fizzy. I use Facetime and WhatsApp. I play the game "Yum" with my friends, on FaceTime. It's a dice game and you need 1 sheet of paper, so it's easy to play with your friends on FaceTime.9

I used Whatsapp to communicate with family and friends, but looking for whatsapp replacement after their latest privacy policy update.4
