    Hi Tina

Fizz is using videotron network therefore you have a very similar performance, pick the right speed for you, this is very important https://fizz.ca/en/faq/which-speed-should-i-choose

    https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-subscribe-to-fizz-home-internet

If you want to have a better performance, you should think to associate your personal router and set the modem in bridge mode.

The modem/router given from a provider is en average one it is able to do the job but it is not able to excel on it.

This is also a good time to join Fizz as they are giving $50 bonus credit to new customers (until January 6 2021).

If you need a referral code, there is a list here:

You can choose mine, both parties will receive the bonus credit once you have paid your second bill.

    Welcome to Fizz!!

Not that good. I have 30-35 devices connected (cameras, switches, ipad, iphone, ps4 etc..). Much faster and reliable with my Google Mesh.

In my case my partner and I were both streaming on 4K and it wasn't a problem at all. The internet handled it wonderfully. I am on the 120Mbs plan.
Alternatively, you can also use a cable connection directly, if possible. This is the fastest option and does not influence speed at all.

Depends on the speed you take.
Gaming takes very little bandwidth (but needs fast speeds, aka latency which Fizz will provide), video streaming is the real bandwidth killer. Netflix recommends 5mbps for a 1080P stream and 25 for 4k.
So really I would see how many streams you might want to do at once and in what resolution and then get the next step up from that.
If I helped you today fell free to sue my refferal code

The only time I really brought the internet down was when the coding machine was running some simulations in the background while playing and watching a movie. However, the speed didn't decrease by much.
So in your case I definitely recommend that you pick one of the higher plans for internet! You shouldn't run into any problems then.

    Tina,
It depends of the choice of your speed plan, you can choose the plan 60 mbs/10.
