Adding a new contact

I would love to gift my cousin some data and so I want to add him as a new contact. However, I am not able to add any new contact, as the system to find new contacts simply doesn't work. Also, this bug has been going on for over a week now, which is frustrating. What is the problem?

In order to donate the extra data in your plan, you do not need to add your cousin as contact, it is enough to to donate using the phone number or the email

Only the perks needs a contact

We do not have any news when the will give us the possibility to add the contacts again

The thing is when donating data, I can only gift data to a contact, which recquires for me to add him as a contact, which I cannot do as of now. I want to know how you can donate data only through the phone number, as you said it was possible.

Click gift to a new friend

To send a gift:

1- Go to My Plans in your Fizz account.
2- Scroll to the plan (if you have more than one in your account) that you want to gift from.
3- Click Gift.
4- On the next screen, choose Start gifting.
5- Choose gift to a new Fizz member who you want to gift to.
6 - Enter the phone number or email This will open the gifting tool. *
7- Select the amount of data you wish to gift and click Next.
8- Customize a message to the recipient and click Send.

* If you choose an email from your contacts list, data will be gifted to the default plan associated with that email address (there may be multiple phone numbers on this plan). If, however, you choose to gift data to a specific phone number, the data will be gifted to the exact plan associated with this phone number.
