To switch to Fizz, your phone must be:
Unlocked (free of a contract with another mobile provider)
Compatible with the Fizz network frequencies
You can also try to do this, in this way you can see if you see the Fizz network, but all the recent phones sold in Canada are compatible.
Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Network operators → Search networks → Fizz
This is also a good time to join Fizz as they are giving $50 bonus credit to new customers (until January 6 2021).
If you need a referral code, there is a list here:

You can choose mine, both parties will receive the bonus credit once you have paid your second bill.9 -

Hi M-lielos
If you are talking about home internet wifi, all cellphones that can connect to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz signal will work.
If you are talking about Fizz mobile, your phones are mostly compatible as long as they are unlocked as mentioned by Mike. For the Huawei P30 Lite, it depends on which model you have. If it is the Canadian or European model, it is fully compatible. Otherwise, if you have the Asian model, it will work but it is missing the 1700(AWS) frequency band.
If for any reason your Canadian phone is still locked, you can contact the original provider who will unlock it for you at no charge.

Hi!
If you're talking specifically about compatibility between a cellphone on a Koodo plan and Fizz's home internet then it will work fine as the cellphone will connect using a WiFi connection which works even without a carrier and a SIM card in the phone just like a computer or a tablet.
I personally have a phone with Koodo and it works well with my home internet from Fizz so no worries there!5 -
Hi, M-lielos
First, your phones seems compatible to the Fizz LTE network.
Also, your phones must be unlock.
Just, buy 2 sim cards to a Depanneur: Couche-Tard if you are living in the greater area of Mtl.
Just call before if they have some.
Or you can order them on the Fizz web site.
If you are activating a new Fizz plan with Fizz before january 6th and apply a referral code from a friend with Fizz after you are seeing the montly cost of your plan without the taxes, you can get a rebate of 50$ after your second payment.
