How do I change the frequency of my internet plan from 2.4 GHz to 5.0 GHz?

I'm trying to change my internet from 2.4 GHz to 5.0 GHz since my microwave is always cutting off the signal. I believe I have the power to do this without paying anything extra?

Hi Ryan
login using the username cusadmin the password is your wifi password
Go on Wireless → General settings → 5.0GHz
Disable Band steering
Click on save the modification
The modem should reboot wait couple of minutes3
