Change the modem name
Hello!
I've noticed that my router name, when plugged in with an Ethernet cable, is not named the same as the wifi(Ii.e.: when on Ethernet, the name is FIZZ***** and if I connect on wifi, it is the name that I wish to connect to).
Is there a way to make both name the same, as my Ethernet connection would be the same as my wifi? I checked in the app and in the website settings (http://192.168.0.1/login.htm), and sadly didn't see an option for it.
Thanks a lot!

Hi Jessy
You can change the SSID which is the wifi name.
Go to http://192.168.0.1/ (enter user: cusadmin and your wifi password)
Menu Wireless >> Basic Settings >> 2.4G
On the right side, put the name that you want under "Network Name (SSID)"
Then Save your changes
p.s. To Jessy: If you want, you can change the SSID to match the internet name. But unfortunately not the other way around...6 -
Hi
connect to your modem and go on the DNS page
there you must have the option to configure the hostname6 -
Fizzy: Hello! Saldy, this isn't what I'm looking for. The SSID is allright, but when plugged it, the internet name is not the same as my SSID and I want it to be the same.
Mike: I went to basic -> DNS and added a Proxy Hostname1 but it didn't worked sadly.6 -
