Can we program the voice mail to recognize our device so that we don't have to dial the password every time ?

However you can do this
Add a speed dial with this number
+15146470999,Hereyourpin
If your pin is 2124
+15146470999,2124
This will dial the voicemail, wait 2 seconds and dial your pin
