Not receiving text from iphone users?

I can send/ receive texts from any android phone, but for a weird reason, I can only send texts to iPhone, but won't ever receive an answer.
How is that possible?

Try to register your iMessage and you need to have a data plan or a wifi, ask to your fried which color the bubble is
If they the bubble is blue, this means that the message is using Apple therefore the data, green are considered traditional SMS10 -
Also, I do not have an iPhone9

Have you recently changed your phone and/or previously used an iPhone? If so, can you go back to turn off iMessages?
If this is not the reason, make sure your friends with iPhone are sending the text messages to your phone number and not to your email or other user contact info besides your phone number.11 -
Myriam I think that the problem is perhaps not from your side but from the iPhones side. Try what Fizzy said : be sure that they use your phone number and that they turn off their IMessage first. It’s always difficult with the IMessage..I have an IPhone...sometimes it’s ok but at any time it doesn’t work anymore:/10

Myriam, I'll backup the suggestion that it may not be your issue but the iPhone users that are using iMessage.6

The issue is with the other person's device and its settings. Ask the other person to check their device settings and if using a messaging app other than the stock text messaging app, likely its settings are so that it can only send/receive messages to other iphones.4

I think Clive has giving you the best answer.
It's not a problem coming from you but from your iphone users.
I think they try to send you an imessage other than a regular text with your telephone number.4
