Maybe the technician is just running late. They can be 1 to 2 hours late for the appointment.
If no one comes today, you will be able to reschedule another appointment yourself from the account by going to My Plans >> Manage Plan >> Appointments. The 'Reschedule' button will appear there, once 24h passed since the appointment was due. You can then choose a new date and time that's best suited for you.

It is really up to technician to call or not. Keep an eye on your phone, front door (for any knocking) and email for any updates.

You are not the only one who wait for technician in vain. See what Fizzy wrote you, as he is very knowledgeable on FIZZ.
What I should add to his post is that IMO what some tech do is not correct. Apart that you took a day off from your time and wait for him, at least the tech should call you to let you know he's late or not coming. Now you have to spend another day to wait for him.
I think is a good idea to contact Fizz anyway to let them know that you are unsatisfied. Feedback like this will help Fizz to select and keep the best technicians and let go those who make clients unhappy by missing the appointment.

Unfortunately, it happens for many reasons that the technician didnt show up to your appointment.
and you you will be obliged to fix today online in your account another appointment with a technician for your installation.4 -

You can contact customer support by chat, from 8 AM to 9 PM every day:
1- Connect to your Fizz account (if you have more than one, connect to the one that has the problem) by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Click on this link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-manage-appointment-technician-visit-my-service-address
3- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.0 -

Also, is better to disable your pop-up or add blocker (sometimes they block the chat bubble).
Personnaly I use https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-unable-log-my-fizz-account-what-do-i-do , scroll down and after few seconds (to me) always the chat bubble appears down in the right side - but only in working time 8 to 21h.
