The big button on the front is for Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).
The small button behind the modem is to do a factory reset of the modem.11 -
The WPS button allows you to connect a device without having to know the password. When you attempt to connect, you can set that as one of the security option and simply press the button once your device asks you to.13
