Hi Leanne,
If you are on the Canada Plan then no, but you should enable data roaming. If you have a Quebec plan, it won’t work unless you have money in your wallet.
Hope this helps13 -
With a Canada plan you won’t have any problems.12

Leanne,
If you have the Canada coverage in your mobile plan, everything will work. Just activate the roaming on your phone.
If you have only the Quebec coverage, you need to buy add-ons (a block of data, calls or texts)
or you pay at usage, you need to put money in your wallet ( it's more expensive) .9 -
Hi Leanne,
Here are some FAQ from FIZZ when you leave your subscription zone.

That's the beauty of prepaid,
You can't "get charged" by accident for something!6 -
Which phone are you using? Phone bands can also make it so it's harder for certain phone to get certain signal.
I suggest you also try to use the 3G (in your settings) instead of LTE. 3G (WCDMA/GSM) tends to be easier get i noticed.5 -
If you don't have this options in your plan, It will notify you when you calling.
I have only Quebec calls, when I call to Ontario it says I can't call because it not included in my plan.5 -
It will depend if you are within the coverage in your rate plan. If you choose Canada-wide coverage then you shouldn’t be worried since you’re covered by the partner network (Fizz EXT) and make sure to enable roaming on your phone settings, but if you are under the Quebec coverage then you won’t be able to use the network. If you go often often to other Canadian city outside of your coverage it’s better to choose the Canada-wide coverage it’s about +2$ more (at least for me with my plan configuration).3
