Modem backup battery?

Hello, I had a few electricity outages the last few days and I have to reset my modem because it looses all it settings. I remember Bell modem have a backup battery so when the power goes off you still have internet at home.
Does any of you know if fizz offer something like this. I didnt find any battery connection inside this one but maybe some of you knows a way to handle this?

No Fizz does not have it. You need to buy an UPS6

Fizz modem doesn't have a battery. You need to have your own if you need it6

@Alexander me neither. until Covid arrive, need to work from home, construction in you area and then you get a lot of power outage lol. Bell provide the modem with and internal battery. If you loose your power you still have internet6

As Mike said, if the power outage affects the videotron box you might be out of luck. Maybe with DSL you still had power in the lines as that works on a different system.7

Fizz modem doesnt have a battery.
You need to buy a UPS if you want one.5 -
I bought a UPS at Costco and it plugged into my modem and router. Gives me a couple of hours coverage in case!0

Yes Philipp with a DSL router you can have an external battery in case of electric outages. It’s a Cyber Power.0
