Why must I sometimes reboot phone to get internet when roaming?
Left Ottawa for Peterborough on Saturday. When in Peterborough, no internet. Phone is an iPhone 8. Seems that when going to an EXT area, getting internet is not that easy. Sometimes I can get it to work by manually searching and testing the different EXT services available, and other times I need to reboot. Anyone else see this as well?

Have you configured your APN settings? I knew somebody with the same problem but he forgot to configure the APN. After he did that he didn't experience any issues.8

I think it's your cellphone.7

It is your cell phone that fails to connect properly to a partner network. Maybe they is a software upgrade for your phone that fixes this problem.8

Check your phone as this does not happen normally.8

Try another phone and check if the problem persists9

This happens on an iPhone 8. There is no APN settings for iPhones, they are downloaded automatically from Fizz as per the following:
----
1. Install the latest software update.
... Connect to a Wi-Fi network
... Download the latest iOS software update
2. Update the carrier settings.
... Once the software update is done, your iPhone will offer a carrier settings update. Make sure you accept it.5
