Hi,
I signed up to Fizz last week (Internet plan) and had to put in my payment info.
However, I haven’t moved into my place yet and the appointment with the technician to set up the Internet is only in 3 weeks, on Monday August 31st.
However, I see that I was already charged $45.99 on July 28, 2020 (although I haven’t used the internet yet, nor has it been installed yet)...?
Please advise why that is and/or refund asap.
Many thanks,

Hi Laura,
Fizz is a prepaid service, your first monthly payment will be charged to your credit card when you subscribe. Your payment cycle, however, will start with the delivery of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem. This means the amounts of your next monthly payments will be automatically charged to your credit card each month, 24 hours before the date on which you received your Fizz Wi-Fi modem.

Laura,
Mike's answer is correct, your chosen plan fee is charged upon signing up. This amount covers your first month of service which starts the day your modem is activated. So in 3 weeks when you finish installation, your first month begins, and is pad for.
Think of this as prepaying for your first month.3 -
This is normal. Your payment cycle will start on the installation date.
