Is this a Videotron outlet and does it work with Fizz?

This isn't coax but I'm sure it's something Videotron installed in the apartment building at start of 2020. Looks like an RJ-45 but maybe it's something else. Is this actually a Videotron outlet, and if so does it work with Fizz? Obviously it's not coax.

In order to connect the modem you need to have a videotron coaxial cable.
If you do not have it, the technician will install for you. However, when you order your internet plan, you should contact the support to let them know that you need the cable installation, in this way they will allocate more time14 -

Videotron network is coaxial and also Fizz. Fizz use videotron network. Videotron own Fizz.12

Thank you. This is a 4th floor apartment, where is this tech running coax to? Also, can anyone confirm this connector is Videotron and why it is what it is?

Coaxial normally is videotron or Cogeco cable.
Bell use optical fiber to the home.12 -
Hey Andrew, they may run the COAX from a box outside and through a window or you might have a connection already behind the wall if this is a new construction. We had RJ-45 cables in our condo, but these were Bell to run phone and internet to the unit. Videotron is the parent company of Fizz as far as I know - similar to relationship between Fido and Rogers.13

Thanks. I'm sure it isn't Bell, the only question is why Videotron would have an RJ-45 and whether it screws up Fizz. Forget 4th floor apartment, it could be 20th floor apartment and no way would they allow a cable down the building. I guess it's possible the old coax is still connected, but I can't imagine Videotron would leave it active (also Videotron proper is only offering Hexlix Internet 60, 100, and 400, so presumably they're not maintaining infrastructure just so Fizz can offer 15/10.
I'm probably worrying for nothing, but I've spent 2 frustrating weeks wrestling with Bell to get a Dry Loop converted to Wet Loop, which has included everything from "no tech, just plug it in" to "they booked a tech but cancelled because the account is flagged as credit problems" to "we dropped the associated fake phone number entirely, it's lucky I was able to get the port reassigned to you before your Internet died". I trust no one, and it doesn't matter how simple the task is.12 -

Coaxial câble is the câble of Videotron.
If this câble is not installed in your building, a technician will install one the day of your installation if you decide to subscribe to Fizz internet.11 -
Since Vidéotron went digital they don’t disconnect coaxial connections anymore. We had old analog cable before the switch. We cancelled 8 years ago and we were still connected in our apartment When we signed up for fizz this year. . Vidéotron wired the whole building coaxial and phone when it was built. Good luck with the install I hope it goes smoothly!12

This is terrible, I'm sure I included a photo link when I posted the question and now I don't see one. I'm sorry if that happened and I made the discussion hard for every one. Here's the link, I think the consensus is that it's Bell, since bell's max speed in the building is 50/7 and Videotron now is Internet 400 (can't find the download speed).

It is probably outlets for a private network. I did without sockets like that in my walls to connect my PC to my modem which is upstairs. Its can be used by any internet provider that uses a modem

Thank you, I also thought it might be RJ-45 but now think it's not because here's a picture I just took with the cover off. I believe this is fibre. I wanted to follow up on my original question. Apologies if this is late. Also I thought I earlier added the missing photo of the outlet, but I don't see it now in my original post. The answer is, it's a Vidéotron fibre outlet and yes you need coax for Fizz (not sure about Vidéotron).
Fizz/Vidéotron tech came for the install, I pointed at the coax outlet (about 1" sticking out, no connector) and he said "isn't there fibre?". Of course there was. He installed an adapter that converts fibre to coax (Arris SDU RFoG CPE). We have the regular coax Fizz tower modem, which I installed (I wasn't sure whether free self-install included plugging in the modem and seeing it work, so I didn't push for it).
The service is only 15/10 but it's been rock solid for the last 3 weeks or so. Calling Bell to cancel Fibe and we'll see how it goes. Between a couple of streaming services and an antenna in the window, we should be okay. As expected from checking on TVFool.com, they have 9 Canadian channels* and possible some US. The picture quality is fantastic of course. That's based on me hooking up an old $8 antenna to the TV and pointing it vaguely in the direction of the Oratory. Next step is to take my ancient OTA (Over-the-Air) TiVo PVR and see if it pulls them in for recording. The picture quality is fantastic.
[*CBC, CTV, Global, CITY, SRC, TVA, CFTU, CFJP, and ICI -- I didn't keep the TV on long enough to identify the French channels well, and TQS is poor, also as promised by TVFool. I actually got WETK PBS 1-4 but no other American station, I don't understand and later it didn't work, so I'm discounting it for now.]
