I now have Vidéotron internet, TV and telephone. I have 2 ‘landlines’ - a home number and work one. If I switch to FIZZ internet, can I still keep my TV and telephone? Do I need to return my existing modem? It has an Ethernet Jack and 2 telephone jacks, one for each telephone line. I read where others mention a splitter. Is it included with the Fizz ‘kit’?

No home phone and TV with Fizz! Keep your home phone and TV with Vidéotron and take internet with Fizz. Probably you will save money or take this opportunity to negotiate your plans with Vidéotron7

When you are talking about land line, do you mean phone number given by Videotron?
If this is the case, the telephone need an internet connection, validate with Videotron if you can have only the services that you want and what will be the price too.
Technically the cable can be used for different modem, therefore, with a splitter you can use the TV, Fizz modem without problem9 -
If I where you I woud :
Cut off the cord with Vidéotron !
- Plug a computer to your TV and navigate only on Internet to watch TV
- Use a VOIP phone and keep your phone numers
- Thats it... You'll save a lot of money6 -
Fizz offers internet and mobile only. If you want to keep videotron as well, the best thing to do would be to contact fizz directly and tell them your situation. Given your situation, the splitter could be important to keep videotron and have fizz at the same time.5

You can have Internet from Fizz and keep your residential phone and TV with Videotron.
You will need a splitter5 -
John,
You can choose to take the internet with Fizz
and keeping your phone and TV plans with Videotron.
When the technician will come to bring your modem, he will connect you a splitter to your coaxial câble.5 -

I'm curious why some people are still keeping their residential phone. If the number is important, you can transfer it to VOIP with less of half the price.
If it's for the alarm system, the alarm companies can provide now cell communication between your system and the central1
