1- Is it possible to have both Videotron Cable TV with Fizz internet?
2- Right now I have Videotron cable TV and Videotron Internet, if I do my own install is it as easy as removing the splitter going to my current Videotron router and re-connecting to the Fizz modem or other connection are needed?
3- Will the technician ask to go inside my home for other reasons or will he just deliver the modem and wait for me to configure it (I don't want him inside my house )

1) Yes it is the same cable
2) yes use the splitter and connect the fizz modem instead the videotron one (same cable, same connector)
3) Usually the do not came they leave the modem at the door

Here fizz informations
As part of the precautionary measures against the COVID-19 virus, our technician will now leave your Fizz Wi-Fi modem at your door instead of entering your home. The verification of your connection will be done from outside. You'll then have to follow our simple instructions to install your modem and configure your network yourself. The technician will be in his truck and won’t leave until he can validate everything is good to go.

thanks Mike.
One more question as to when do I cancel Videotron internet, same day as the Fizz install or a day before?
Or can I install Fizz modem, make sure it is working and then call to cancel Videotron internet?8 -
I will make all my test before disconnect videotron cable, if you do not mind to pay couples of days more,.
you can even use both at the same time if you have an other splitter10
