The ottawa area is covered by Fizz, however 416 is not for toronto? You can transfer only number from Ottawa

    Hi Yuri,

Yes if you want to use Fizz mobile, you can have a Quebec or Ottawa phone number, but not a Toronto one.

To be able to subscribe to Fizz mobile, you have to reside in the subscription area (which is Quebec and Greater Ottawa area). This also means that your phone number must belong to the subscription area. More details available from Fizz here: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activation-how-do-i-transfer-my-current-phone-number-to-fizz

Pascal, you can take Canada or any coverage, but it does not change your phone number. Your number must be based in the subscription area (Quebec or Greater Ottawa area).
