Can someone else receive my modem?

I will move in on the 1st of July and I work from home so I need to have the connection as soon as possible. I can see that there is no slots available before the 4th of July. However, there is a few in June. Can my friends receive the modem instead of me?

IMPORTANT: An adult over 18 years of age must be present at your service address when the technician visits.
For multi-unit buildings, make sure you also have access to the building's wiring room.
