why do the downstream and upstream lights stay BLUE instead of turning green? spoke to fizz chat rep and he just said not to worry, I am skeptical of that kind of answer, can anyone shed a light on this issue , please?

Hi re_ource3,
Steady blue lights on the Downstream arrow and Upstream arrow on the Hitron-Coda means that the connection is linked ( meaning Mac handshake and applying the speed Plan you pay for ) and stable in between Modem and Routers and Servers from Videotron's Pool from different Cells ( aeras ).
Usually the color green is the most common but for the Hitron Blue means it is fine
Hope this helps!

I have been with Fizz home internet for over 1 year now. For the downstream and upstream lights on the modem, both of mine are solid blue and all is working well. It is true that the other lights are usually green.4

To Save you Time
DS= Blue, steady The CODA-4x8x is successfully engaged in channel bonding on the
downstream connection.
US= Blue, steady The CODA-4x8x is successfully engaged in channel bonding on the
upstream connection.6 -

As Fizz's rep said, not to worry. It should be stay at BLUE for a steady stable connection.2
