Apparently prices did not only increased, some went down. At least, that's what some people report:

I have the stabilisation price...
But Fizz is yet attractive also for other reasons:
data roll-over, attractive plans, peks and data gifts.8 -
Fizz is great, it’s about time we can now have quality service at a fair price rather than be gauged. I went from $90 a month to $37,,, huge savings.2

No, with the outages that we have all had, we should see a decrease in price or some type of compensation.5
