Some body know about the rumor that fizz are going to increase mobile basic pricing by 5$ per month in march ?

Nobody can know this, they did not even increased the price for users that are not on the stabilization price and that are suppose to have an increase in the early 2020. Like you said this is a rumor.17

If such was true, I am pretty sure Fizz would have sent e-mails to inform us about this and update their site. I would rather delete this post before rising further confusion among the comunity16

Mike is right! They were supposed to increased my price and I received an email months before 2020 and they didn’t. Maybe they will just increase the price for new customers.. only time will tell if it’s true!16

Nobody knows for the moment.
It's a rumor.
Fizz is supposed to inform their customers at least 30 days about a new increase.

But in resume :
Any price increase will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance. This will give you plenty of time to check your usage, adjust your plan if required, and make sure you are taking full advantage of your rewards. You’ll be able to compare, and you’ll have time to decide whether you want to stay before any price change comes into effect for your plan.
So for now it's just rumors !

As long as they give the minimum 30 day notice. Regardless, we are extremely happy after the switch to Fizz from Rogers. They offer the best standalone price plans for kids6

They said early 2020 there is an increase.
But i think the increase is the extra 10% that we had got during the service outage last year.
And they had given extra data for everyone.7 -
Rumors are rumors... prices are still very competitive and they'll inform us before raising prices6
