RCS active!?

This isn't so much a question but more of an observation.
I was with Rogers not too long ago and i signed up for Google messages beta in order to activate RCS messaging. It worked.
When I switched over i read here that there is no support for RCS with Fizz (Vidéotron).
But you can see from my screenshots that my "chat" (RCS) function works and that when i message another RCS user that the little bouncing balls show up (indication of RCS is active)
I wonder if there is some way to force it. I tried getting the messenger beta with my wife's pixel 2 (same phone) but the chat feature won't activate.

Have no aswer to your question, but i have to search on the Google what a RCS Messaging is

Google enabled RCS from their own servers in the beta because the US carriers were taking too long to implement it ontheir own.
However this has been enabled in the US only.
That being said there are tutorials you can follow to force the same implementation that is available in the states from anywhere else.
Is it possible you previously followed these steps?10 -
also, took a look to my pixel and so that the application is preinstaled. It seems to be available to Google and Samsung users.6

@Alex I did follow the trick that came out last month. That's how i got it to work (activate and join beta messaging program) but i can't reproduce it on my wife's phone unfortunately.
I'm more wondering if others were able to activate it like me.
@Olga, does it say "chat" active in your setting?
@Dani for sure, i love RCS. It really opens up sms/mms. RCS is often referred to iMessage for Android.6
