No, it won’t Count as a long distance.I call my niece that lives in Toronto at least once a week.!13

Calls across Canada should be included if you have the unlimited calls plan.14

I have Canada Unlimited minutes plan, as soon as i dial a number outside Quebec, for example Toronto area code 416 or 905 i get "You're dialing a long distance... message" i thought i was making a long distance call.12
-
No, they tell you that but you won’t get charge.11
-
No it won't. Like any other company, you can call from across Canada : Any province to Any province .
Enjoy your plan !9 -
I would say that you can call from anywhere to anywhere, no restrictions. That is a pretty general rule for any telephone company for the last few years. Hope this helps.10

Are you dialing with the 1 also
If you are
Try using only the 10 digit # without the 110 -
Patrick, What is the difference?9

With my previous provider it indicated that you intended to make a long distance call
That may not be the case here

Out of curiosity, i just called Canadian Tire in Toronto
It behaves as exact opposite from my last provider
Dialing without 1 gives the message
Dialing with the 1 does not
Either way, it is a long distance call, but its included12 -
If you do not have add-on or your wallet is empty, you do not need to worry for any extra charge. Fizz is pre-paid. If there is no money in your account, they will not let you to use their extra service. Like my plan, I do not have money in my account, but I can text to other countries mobile. So it means text to other countries is free.11

Vanish,
Just put the 1
before your call.
No fees more...10 -
Working fine for me if i add the 1 and there are no additional charges9

Probably not!5

Amazing that is costs only 3 bucks more to get canada coverage !4
-
Since you have a Canada plan, I will suggest to add 1 to all your number, or even better +15
-
Thank you all for your kind responses.
If i add 1 or +1 in front of 416 or 905 area code would i be able to make the (local) call while i'm in Toronto with 1 in front of the number?5 -
Thank you communauty for your answer.3

If you have a Canada wide plan it should not charge you like long distance call4
-
Calling from Montreal to Toronto is considered as a long distance. If you have a Canadian plan, you will NOT pay any extra overages even if you hear the trailer message saying that you will pay long distance charges. In order to remove this trailer message, add " + 1 " before the 10 digit phone number you are dialing. Have a nice day.2
