For the SIM couples of days for the number transfer between 5 min to 24 hours.
You need to transfer the number when the other line is still active.

If you order your Fizz SIM card now you will have it well before next week (mine took 2 business days to arrive after I ordered it). You need to transfer your number to Fizz while your old account (Lucky) is still active if you want to keep the same phone number so I would suggest switching over before your service ends. They took care of the number transfer for me (it will ask you if you want to do so during your plan setup). Once I decided on my plan, the whole process of going from my old provider to Fizz took about 20 minutes and I was up and running.

First, order your sim card from Fizz. It will take maximum 2, or 3 days to receive it.
Activate your sim card is very easy and fizz is transfering your telephone number from your previous provider (you'll need to give to FIZZ your account number of this privider. Choose your plan and after some minutes, your phone will be in function.

Order you Sim card right away so when you Lucky plan will end, you will be able to transfer your number with Fizz. It is very fast to transfer.

It is best to do it 24 hours before. This way you don't risk going without service and at most you will have an overlap of one day.
