How is the home internet, in south shore of Montreal
the same price of 40$, ebox gives 10Mb/s, fizz shows 30Mb/s.
I had very bad experience with CIK, the speed shows 30Mb/s, but when it is high peak hours (6-9PM), it is slow like crazy.

I do not have it at the moment, but it seems good, the complain that I am reading is the modem (limite Wifi range and limited configuration), however, if you want you can set it in bridge mode and use your own router.

You will have the same experience with Fizz as you did with Ebox.
The problem with CIK is that they do not buy enough capacity to supply bandwidth to all their users during prime time.
With Fizz you are getting Videotron internet so you will not have any issues. I made the switch from Ebox as well. If you sign up, use a referal code to get a $25 discount. Mine is E6V3F.

Fizz's internet service is very stable and the speed is constant 24hrs. Me too, I switched from CIK to Fizz..very happy about this decision5

I too was using eBox for many years and liked it.
They couldn't match Fizz prices so I ended up switching.
Very happy with the switch. Paying less for faster speed.
Same reliable cable home internet.

You don't have to worry about Fizz internet since their feed comes from Videotron, the only issue might be their modem, the WIFI, if you have a good router use the Fizz supplied modem in Bridge mode and your router as WIFI.

I switch from Ebox to Fizz and it is basically the same. I recommend Fizz, the internet goes through Videotron.4
