buy sim card with a visa card from another country

I am trying to buy a sim card online using a visa card from another country. Actually I tried two different onces, one from NZ and one from France. Each time, I am being told that there is a problem with the billing address. Is this just because I have to have a canadian visa card to buy a Fizz sim card?

You cannot sorry
You can use a Visa or Mastercard credit card, or a Visa Debit card to pay for your Fizz plans.
Other cards such as debit cards, American Express (Amex), Dinners, and others are not accepted. Foreign credit cards are also not accepted.

My advise is to get a refillable Visa card at post Canada if you don’t want to get a Canadian bank credit card7

It is time for a change and get a canadian credit card. Some bank are almost everywhere in the world.4

Foreign cards don't work, sadly.2

beside verifying your credit, they also verify your location (billing address). Foreign credit card will not be possible.1
