I'm thinking of joining Fizz and have a few questions?
I'm sorry if this is covered elsewhere on the site but I did search and could not find my answer. I'm thinking of joining Fizz as I find myself traveling a lot to the United States and my current mobile provider charges $7 a day. I understand that with Fizz, I can select Canada and US coverage and I can use my account in both countries (please correct me if I am wrong).
So a few questions.
Currently I have 1000 minutes to call the UK each month with my provider. When I first looked at Fizz, the UK was listed as an international call add on but now this destination is no longer listed. Is a 1000 minutes add on to the UK still available?
Are texts limited to Canada or international? Currently I have international and would like to retain this as I have family in the UK and friends in Australia.
I estimate my time in the USA will not exceed 3 months per year but if I choose the US / Canada usage, is there a time limit on when I can use my plan in the US?
If I select US and Canada usage, when I am in the US, are calls to US numbers included or should I use Hangouts dialler instead to call US numbers. Similarly, if I am in the US, can I still call Canadian numbers and UK numbers (with the add on if it still exists) from the US?

The add-on for UK exists (see print-screen for prices).
Texts are international.
If you opt for Canada-US coverage, you will have calls, texts and data in your coverage zone. Here is the coverage map -

If you know where exactly you will be in the US, you can check if this place is covered. You will be able to call UK from the US if you have the UK calls add-on in your plan.
However, your account will be suspended if you spend more than 15 days a month for three consecutive months on Fizz partners networks (which means Canada except Quebec, and the US).19 -
Personnaly when I'm outside the country I buy a SIM card of the country I'm visiting, I find it cheaper and better service. Fizz main benefit is to be cheap for people here in Quebec.15

I used in the past Canada + USA when I was in USA I was able to call in Europe (since I have it), send and receiving SMS, calls and data. I had a problem the first trip, after that was working.
For me it was the reason to switch, since I had a US SIM before, however, I do not like to give 2 numbers.
In the meantime, in the past week user report problems with data in US.
I checked for the international calls, I am not able to find the UK, strange since I see Ireland.
For this you are better off contact the support.

@Yelena - thanks for answering my questions. Your screen grab kind of killed it for me (not blaming you at all
). When Fizz started out, the UK $5 add on included 1000 minutes a month. Now it includes 60. I'd be better off either sticking to what I have now - 11 GB Canada data, unlimited Canada wide and unlimited international text, 1000 minutes to the UK for $49 a month and buying a local sim card when I go to the US.
I see that Tello mobile do 1GB 4G data (unlimited 2G after that), 300 minutes to Canada and the US and free texts for $8 US a month which is super cheap and probably more than I need for the time I will be in the US each time.
Only downside is I'll have to get a Sprint compatible phone which my current phone is not. But I can pick up a reasonably priced Moto E4 on Ebay for the purpose of the US trips.
Alternatively, I could go with Public Mobile's new offer of 8.5 GB of data in Canada, 2 GB of US data roaming each month, unlimited calls to Canada and the US from Canada and the US and unlimited international text and picture messaging from Canada and the US for $60 a month and buy an international calling add on of 400 minutes for $15 which never expires. I'm tempted by the Public Mobile offering even though it does work out more expensive than what I have now but it is the no aggravation bit I like - not having to switch sims and phones each time I cross the border. The only other thing that puts me off it is the artificially throttled 3G speed data
