After the Stabilization period, will I lose my introductory price?
The notice for the Stabilization period indicated that after July, account holders would return to normal prices. Does this mean that we lose our launch prices?

I would like also to know this because this is the only reason i signed up. Furthermore, the page explaining that we would keep our introductory price has changed. That is not the contract i signed.10

I have the same question. I was under the impression that we could keep our introductory price unless we changed our plan, as thanks for dealing with the stabilization period.
The link sent out in the email said that after the stabilization period "regular prices will come into effect. You’ll be happily surprised by these once the stabilization period has come to an end."

Not sure why I'll be happily surprised... I wouldn't have signed up if I knew the price would increase...9 -
It's pretty unclear in their message and that's annoying.13

Changing our contracts to give us 10% rebate until July, and stealthily removing the right to keep introductory prices forever is unacceptable.9

For sure if they will remove the launching price, for my plan I will not any avantage to be with Fizz. I will save 1$ compare to my previous one.12

Exactly, they told us to switch to their service to help them improve their service during the stabilization period and we can get and keep an introductory prices for that. Then now they change from introductory to regular prices (https://fizz.ca/en/faq-stabilization-period), it doesn't make sense.... that's greedy.8

No you won't lose your launch prices as long as you don't change your actual plan !9
-
@CptVietnam : Can you find the page that stated that? Because I can't. They replaced it with a statement of regular price after the stabilization period. Nothing says that we will keep the introductory price anywhere on the site.9

We all have the same question, we all need answers. If Fizz removes our introductory prices, They will be losing a lot of customers, including my 4 lines. Fizz needs to give us an answer.7

You are not going to lose your introductory prices, you are going to received a 10% discount for 3 months, people who get a new plan will get normal price, and you will keep your introductory price (unless you change of plan)10

It would not make any sense from a business perspective to remove the introductory prices to current customers after the stabilization period.5

I have to agree that it is very unclear. People should not be stating that they will be keeping their introductory prices unless they have actually spoken to a Fizz representative. In another thread, someone did and it seems that the price will change to the regular price! In addition, the whole commitment that Fizz made that we would keep our introductory prices is not actually stated in our contracts, and per our contracts they can change the price.
15.3. Our right to amend the contents of your Agreement We may, at any time, amend your Agreement, including the price and nature of the service provided. We must notify you of any changes at least 30 days before the effective date, by notice dealing only with this subject. The notice must clearly and legibly indicate: - the information added to your Agreement, or the amended clause with its original version; - the effective date of the amendment; and any other information we are required to include by law or regulation. Your rights. If the amendment increases the scope of your commitments or reduces our obligations, you may refuse the amendment and terminate your Agreement at no charge. In all cases, you remain responsible for paying the price of the services provided up to the date your Agreement ended. 15.4. Our right to terminate your Agreement Before terminating your Agreement, we must give you at least 60 days’ notice. This notice period is shorter if we terminate your Agreement or interrupt your services because you have failed to honour one of your commitments. In that case, you will receive 14 days’ notice (this notice period may also be shorter if we have a presumption that your use of the services is inconsistent with our policies or applicable law).
Someone from the Fizz team needs to clear this up as there are a lot of people bothered by this. If I'm going to be paying regualr prices in a a few months, I may still go with Fizz, but I would not be staying with Fizz during this very unstable period. The price savings for just a couple of months would not be worth it to me and probably a lot of people. I'd just wait till their stable and then switch to Fizz. Dealing with the instability is only worth it to me for lifetime savings, not just a few months!5 -
My contract don't say anything about Stabilization period or temporary price .
Bad move from Fizz because I was going to transfer other two lines from Fido but after this I will not do it anymore6 -
@Francesco De Luca: " In addition, the whole commitment that Fizz made that we would keep our introductory prices is not actually stated in our contracts, and per our contracts they can change the price."
Does is it follow regu_lation to sell by promising something and not stating it in the contract?2 -

Fizz should not be allowed to sell by advertising that customers will keep introtuctory price without the obligation of stating it in the agreement they made with customers.5

This is not the right time for prepaid telecom carriers to be raising prices. Freedom Mobile just announced lower priced plans. Lucky Mobile, Chatr and Public Mobile have been lowering their prices as well.
If Fizz discontinues Introductory pricing after the stabilization period, unfortunately there won't be many customers who will stay with Fizz.

A clarification, please read it

What will happen to my price after the stabilization period?
For members who will have subscribed BEFORE April 12, 2019.
Once the stabilization period is over, your plan will return to its launch (introductory) price. Please note, however, that if you change your plan after the stabilization period, regular prices will apply. You will be notified of the end of the stabilization period one month in advance.
For members who subscribe ON, OR AFTER, April 12, 2019.
Once the stabilization period is over, regular prices will come into effect and will therefore apply to your plan. You’ll be happily surprised by these once the stabilization period has come to an end. You will be notified of the end of the stabilization period one month in advance.

Glad to see that Fizz are going to honor what they said before about intro prices and still give some time for people to sign up for great prices! Great job Fizz! Next time don't scare us like that...2
