On this new router both 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz share the same ssid. On previous router, I had one ssid for the 2.4 ghz and a different ssid for 5 ghz. On this new router, if I change one, it changes both. Any way to address this in a future fw release?

You can disable band steering by going to each band and disable it .
Once they are disable you can then change the name

This function I will prefer to leave it on, this feature encourages the client to connect to the less crowded 5GHz network.4

You need to go in the fizz wifi app and disable band steering.2

Why I want to do this: prevent re-configuring 5 different devices in the house that only work on 2.4 Ghz and that was how my previous router was configured. So saves time.
Thanks for all the help!2
