Yes if u don’t finish it they transfer it to the next month. It is called a rollover3

Yes, it's renewed with a 3 month expiry every month. That way you use it after using gifted and rollover data.5

Upgrades get renewed every month but they don't roll over once you don't use them.5

This is called data rollover and is done AUTOMATICALLY. So you have nothing to worry about except when your data expires. Forget about the math since this is handled by Fizz.
