Why wont my LG V20 wont connect to LTE?

I set my phone to auto switch to LTE. I entered all the APN info. I restarted my phone. Still no LTE connection yet my friends phone will connect to it. Is there a unique setting needed to an LG V20? Thanks!

Is it just the LTE that doesn’t work , does 3G work ?5

Varies from location to location. I get 4g in my house but not my basement as well some parts in carleton university and not others.5

Some phones like the iphone5 are not compatible - check your phone compatibility. If that isn't the issue, consider messaging Fizz on the chat bubble or via FB messenger.1

It looks like all versions of that phone have the frequency support for LTE data, but not all support voice calling/texting when connected to LTE, maybe that's the problem you're experiencing? Do you know which version you have (Global, AT&T, Sprint, etc.)?0
