I dont think it is a coincidence as their eco system depends on the reward the system to be accurate .May be a glitch unless im missing the reward system completely on how we're supposed to be "rewarded" with points and down the road freebies when we've accumulated enough points!
Thats why Im curious on how it works to maximize the rewards :P12 -

I think it's a glitch. The same thing happened to my account a couple of weeks ago. He was likely (like me) stuck on Apprentice 3/5 for months, and then that happened when he logged in one day.6

Not shure, but from what i see, these badge are awarded for month being on the forum, and there is probably a glitch....
.
- you first came to the community 4 monts ago, got your 50Pts and your apprenti 1/5
- did not come back to the community for 3 consecutive month....
- you logged yourself to the community and receive your points for the missing month, and your apprenti 2/5, apprenti 3/5 and apprenti 4/5 et voila.....
.

That would be nice and tidy and make sense, but not how it has happened in my experience. A lot of people (myself included) were stuck at a max of apprentice 3/5 for a long time, then suddenly one day I logged in as usual, and got 4/5, 5/5, and geek 1/5 at the same time. I noticed that over a few days or weeks, this repeated itself for other long time forum users. Now I've been stuck at Geek 1/5 for over a month too.2
