Xiaomi Mi A1, is it working well?

I'm thinking joining Fizz with a Xiaomi Mi A1, is there someone using Fizz with it that can tell me if there are issues?
Thanks

Fizz doesn’t support LTE calls anyway for now so 3G call is enough

Well I don't care about LTE calls (didnt know it was a thing lol), I just want to make sure my internet will work!

People on reddit seems to say it works fine for data but it shows as 4G and not LTE but still works well

The Mi 5x you are referring to, could be the China version of that model. Russia, Vietnam, Hong Kong an Indonesia models are compatible according to this site https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_a1_(mi_5x)-8776.php#russia

The only way you can be sure is by using the phone's EMEI #

If you don't have the phone yet and you're about to buy it then you should verify with the merchant to be sure.

Hey, I'm using the Mi A2, that one is fully compatible and so far I haven't had many issues at all. So I don't see why the A1 wouldn't be compatible.

The information I found (on gsmarena and willmyphonework.net) was telling the A1 wouldn't work with 1700/2100mhz...
Ultimately, https://www.imei.info/ got me the right info.

Actually, my Mi A1 works like a charm!
You have to manually setup the APN network (that is the tricky part). To reach the manual setting you need to :
    - Turn off the "Automatically selec network" in Settings/Network & Internet/Mobile Network/Advanced.
    - Go and "re-select" Fizz (it will be "Searching..." for a while).
    - Then, you will have to slide the screen up to see a new menu at the bottom called "Access Point Names"
    - Select "+" and have fun ;-)

I am using another brand with Fizz but if it's recent and sold in North America, it should be fine.
