Is it worth it to change to Fizz? All I can see is complaints about their experience with them...?

Will you guys really recommend this provider to anyone after experiencing their services? Just want to make sure before I transfer my account. Thanks! c:

There have been some early problems to work out during the beta period, but it has been working well for me for several weeks. If 2FA is essential to you, waiting might be better though. Remember that perfectly satisfied customers are not likelyly to post a question here.15

Very fair response Allison. I'm a beta tester but I kept my orignal provider too, for the moment.
The Fizz prices are unbeatable currently in the market and if you've patience while issues get sorted - vous en allez profiter.
Switching anything to a Beta version if it's mission critical is maybe not a prudent choice. (See some complaints elsewhere on these pages). Mac OS Mojave for instance.....I'm staying well away until it's 100% stable and all SW packages I use are updated.11 -
For the price, it's worth it. I'm spending 20$/month less compared to what I was paying at Koodo. Yes there are tiny little bugs that I'm sure will get fixed soon. They are open and quite good and fast fixing things. The bugs have been listed, check them out and if there are any that are a deal-breaker to you, wait and check back in a few weeks. They will probably have it sorted by then.14

It’s definitely worth it!! It may be a bit buggy in the beginning but afterwards, it will be the best company! Benefits and data roll over are really great features! Price is unbeatable also14

Despite the odd glitch reported here and there the prices (especially now) are unbeatable and most complaints seem to originate from user error...13

I’d have to agree with all of the above. So many Canadians complain about the “The Big 3” but never do anything about it. Sure there could be some growing pains but a cheaper bill is definitely worth it to me!!14

go through the growing pains to get unbeatable plans. Im paying 50 after tax for 10 gbs13

It isn't for everyone at the moment. You'll need to decide for yourself whether the savings are worth the irritations.13

Before last Friday system down (again), I was going to refer a friend or 2 few days before Dec.19. Now, I can't.
I have no problem with Fizz, appreciate the special $, especially the $23.46+T for 1GBdata-voice-sms, or $14.46+T for unlimited calls. However, most of my friends will not bother if service is unrelaible.

I have to agree. 16 days ago, Fizz was still mostly functional and I could recommend it with some hesitation. At this point, no way. I'm very thankful that I had a backup pay as you go sim to rely on, even if it was a pain to have to send my kids a new text to tell them which number to use each time the network went down and back up. Plus we have a home phone to get calls from the schools and medical appointments (both of which have been essential in the past two weeks--I needed an **** referral and had to get a phone call to set up the last minute appointment, and my teen daughter had a vaccine reaction and needed to be picked up from school asap).
.
If it's your only phone, stay away from Fizz for now.
.
The website bugs I can overlook, but not knowing that I'm going to be able to make or receive phone calls on any given day is not anything I can recommend in this day and age.7 -
I typed up a long, honest answer, which of course is now in moderation (aka gone forever). In sum though, I have changed my mind and now agree with V C.8

I wouldn't recommend fizz at this point in time. After two network outages in two weeks. I would have waited had I know these were the kind of issues I would be having.7

I'm using Fizz for my 2nd phone.
Basically I'm testing Fizz for another 3 months.
If you have only 1 phone then you should not be with Fizz at the moment.6 -
I migrated my main phone number over to Fizz. It's been a rocky beginning. There are indeed many issues and if you need to receive texts from authentification services, I wouldn't recommend the switch. I'm a student and hardly need to use my phone for anything other than data. For the prices that are offered by Fizz. I couldn't resist jumping the gun to save some money. I still have a second phone line with Fido though, so I'm prepared for emergency situations. If you're going to commit 100% to using Fizz as your only carrier. Don't.5

I think it's worth it. Things are going well, I didn't have any problems for a while.0
