Would this phone work with Fizz?

Because the phone I currently use is older, a Samsung Galaxy S6 that has seen better days, I'm looking for something else and I found one that I would like but it has this written on the listing:

"These phones are Sprint unlocked and will work with any GSM provider: Rogers, Fido, Bell, Virgin, Telus, Koodo, AT&T, etc. This phone will NOT work on Wind Mobile/ Freedom, Chatr."

Is Fizz considered a GSM provider? If yes, I shouldn't have any issue using this phone with Fizz, correct?

Thank you!

If it's working on vidéodron, il will work on Fizz. The phone need band 4 and will work better with also the band 7.

the Samsung S6 should be compatible with Fizz on 3G & 4G network. It's compatible to use on the Videotron Network.
For all old phones, you can verify if the phone is compatible or not with a specific carrier from this useful site: https://willmyphonework.net
