Introductory Period Officially Extended?
Here is the official statement from Fizz:
Hello Emre,
When you transfer your current phone number to Fizz, your line must still be active with your current/previous provider. We will disconnect your old provider during the activation process.
To keep your number and transfer it to Fizz, you will need the account number for your current/previous mobile provider (you can find it on your bill).
Good news! As of December 17, the beta period for our mobile service has been extended by two (2) months. You therefore benefit from your preferential price for a total of 5 months, as opposed to the initial 3 we had promised you.
For more details, please see the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/i-participated-in-the-beta-launch
We're at your disposal by chat or by Facebook Messenger
Thank you.
Have a nice day!
Corina,

Huh? She is referring to beta period, not launch pricing.15

That's what I see too. CS agent referring to Beta extension.15
-
yup that says beta only13

Launch pricing stays the same as long as you don't change your plan. But yeah, the network needs to be stable if they plan to charge full price for new customers.12

That notice refers to BETA but seemingly the introductory period has also been extended see here
When will the launch phase end?
We haven't decided on a date just yet but don’t worry, the end of our introductory period will be communicated with enough lead time to allow you to order your SIM card and activate your mobile line with us.

The problem with this is that everybody that subscribed beer 20 get compensation, but everybody else get nothing zit nada... even tough they suffered the same network failures and problems. They pay even more for the same service...
That is a MAJOR FAIL from the Fizz marketing team !6
