Got full signal but internet doesn't work?

I live in Ottawa and I internet works sometimes. Often, I will get full signal with LTE connectivity, but webpages won't load, games will disconnect, etc. Also, I have to setup the APN manually. Even going into Manage plan and asking to resend the notifications doesn't do anything.

Resending the notifications doesn't do anything for me either. Maybe it's an Android 9 thing as I'm running pie as well. But I don't have any issues with connectivity - aside from being stuck on 3G. Lucky you that LTE is even an option. Perhaps that's part of the problem in this case, however. If you change your preferred network type to force 3G maybe it will work? You can find this under Settings -> Network -> Mobile -> Advanced -> Preferred network type. Once the LTE service is restored for everyone you could switch back to the 4G/LTE or Global options (or whatever you have selected now).9

You may have to reset your network settings on your phone first, then re-input the APN settings. It worked for me.10

Kevin, you still had access to internet sometimes before resetting? Because I do have internet access, it's just unreliable.11

Ya, my data service was spotty. And my sms didn't work at all. After resetting things started to work better. Also, if your phone is jumping from tower to tower a lot it really throws a wrench into things and slows everything down.10

Reset network settings then enter APN manually - if that doesn’t work, contact Fizz via their chat or FB and tell them you got Fizzed and you want solutions.3
