canada US plan no one can offer same price17

We might have good reasons to complain about Fizz but nothing can beat these prices. And that "Rolling Data" idea is so amazing and so new on Canadian Market that I think it's going to change a lot in the way the other providers are going to sell their services in the future.22

I doubt anybody can match it16

no match, sit tight and hold17

Fizz is not just Price. I need gift data and rolling unused data function.14

yup, rolling data and the ability to remove unnecessary features on your plan, are great14

I’ve read that others have been able to match. It’s worth a try. It’s good to have competition.10

I tried yo leverage customer retention with Virgin, but they couldn't match or offer anything. I think it's just too new and sudden for them.9

I definitely think it's worth a shot. But it's hard to beat that rollover data!9

I do agree that the long distance plan is basically the only competitive feature offered by Fizz - if someone uses that frequently enough. Others may use a smaller amount of data, so the rollover is moot if competition offers double data like many are doing around the holidays. As for pricing, I can't comment on everyone's situation, but saving $5-10 a month to pay for 3G data (not LTE), dropped calls, several network outages, and a near complete lack of technical support is not worth the trouble for people with professions that require being reachable at all times, or parents, or kids who need to reach their parents, or countless other situations.6

I contacted my old provider and they were not able to match anywhere to close to my current plan. I believe the issues we currently have will get sorted in due time, and once that's done, I think the unique features and cost are going to be worth the rough start we've had. While the support from Fizz is not the at the same level as other providers, with a working service (such as your old provider), how many times to you really need to call them? On my old provider, I can't count a single time I needed to call for support. I'm sure that will be the same same case here once the current issues are resolved. Additionally, the current staff will be able to provide better support once the global issues are resolved and they are not being flooded with duplicate requests.

if your old provider is FIDO, almost 99% of chance they will match it. But for a period of 1yr or 2 yr. 3 friends of mine from FIDO got the matching price of 26$ for the 35$ plan of FIDO (unlimited call/text + 2GB). Another friend also from FIDO got an extra 5GB data per month for his 35$plan. You have more chance to have FIDO matching Fizz price. Bell, Rogers, Virgins can't match.6

In my personal experience, I have 2 lines: Fido decided to match and offered me 25$ 1GB unlimited canada-wide calls and texts. Koodo did not budge. But still moved both lines to Fizz.4
