Only way to get any signal is by using "Fizz EXT", long term solution ?

Hi, yesterday I made a post and some users helped me out a ton. However, I was told something about my "solution" that might not make it a long lasting one.
Basically, the only way for me to get any signal at all with Vidéotron/Fizz, is to use Fizz EXT. My phone is fully unlocked but seems to work on ANY carrier OTHER THAN Vidéotron/Fizz for some reason, I am assuming the bands that it uses.
The only way to have anything at all is use Fizz EXT. I was told that Fizz would likely not allow this for very long. I'm currently waiting in the chat but in the meanwhile what are your thoughts ?

Their policy is that if you stay on majority partner network (ext) for 3 months, they may block your access to partner networks. So, staying with fizz long tern with that phone does not seem like the ideal situation for you.

Gabriel, also make sure your phone supports LTE Bands as follows:
Band 4
Band 7
Band 12 (optionally as it is deployed by Videotron in Outaouais)
Going back through old support posts at Videotron is also helpful as some older AWS phones might have had issues on Band 4 on their network of course.
What area and what phone are you having your issues?
Writing this from EXT now visiting rural Quebec and pretty surprised at speeds for HSPA actually... faster than Ottawa on LTE last few days but hopefully Fizz is working on fixes.7 -
Same issue in Montreal. My calls drop after 3 minutes. Data not working. This plan is completely useless. Can Fizz fix this?5
