                    Activated my new sim andnp’an More than 5 hours ago.  Unable to connect to data.  What should I do?

With Android, you need to set a new APN in your phone it work best that way apparently.

            Iphone? They tend to be a bit more tricky to get to update the carrier settings for using data.15

            Try restarting the phone... last time I swapped to a different provider's SIM it took me two restarts (first after inserting SIM did not work), need to restart a second time for the iPhone to pick up the carrier setting.12
