I have activated a new sim with a random number 3 days ago with $46 for my existing 8GB Canada/ US plan. Tried porting my number from Fido without success. If I port my number after with a new SIM card and cancel my existing SIM card, will I be charged an additional $46 for my existing 8GB Canada/ US plan? Please explain the processes.
Btw, I really need Wifi-calling and visual voicemail.
Thank you.

Its a different account, so you'll be charged another 46. I'd suggest waiting until your month finishes and then making the switch.19

re: "Btw, I really need Wifi-calling and visual voicemail."
Dont expect this to be resolved by FIZZ anytime soon. I believe the sms fix took them 6 weeks since launching beta. So considering that, dont bank on a quick resolution.18 -
yes, you will be charged extra as those are two distinct plans/lines that you are opting for. You might wanna chat with them and see your options however.18

Use this SIM to test Fizz since you already paid for it. Port over next month if you are happy with the service.15

Finally recvd and email from Fizz Mobile support.
" Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer your number from Fido to the SIM card associated to the number (343) xxx-xxxx. If you want to transfer your number, you will have to order a new SIM card. But, if you unsuscribe the phone line (343) xxx-xxxx within 15 days ( trial period ) , you will refunded.
Regarding the Wifi-calling and Visual Voicemail, at the moment they are not available to Fizz. But rest assured, they are under deployment. "
I will unsubscribe, will order the a new SIM card to port my number. Will be traveling to US soon. Hope the network issues will be resolved.
Btw, can some please one send me a referral code.
